At 1033 alarms were sounded for a MVC on I-85 SB 27mm. Both fire and EMS responded promptly. Two were transported to a local hospital, one receiving ALS care and the other BLS care.

At 1038 alarms were sounded for AVFD's EMS crew who were on duty manning the station. The crew responded promptly to a call in the Alberta area. ALS care and transport to a local hospital were provided.
Tue. Aug 25th 2015
At 0825 alarms sounded for AVFD's EMS crew who were on duty and manning the station. The crew responded promptly to the community center in Brodnax and provided public assistance. Transportation was not needed at the time.
Sun. Aug 23rd 2015
At 1039 alarms sounded for AVFD's EMS crew for mutual aid for a medical call in Lawrenceville.. The crew was manning the station and responded promptly to a residence in Lawrenceville. BLS care and transportation to a local hospital was provided..

At 1054 alarms were sounded at AVFD for a single vehicle crash, on Route 46 at the I-85 interchange, involving a motorcycle. Volunteers responded promptly and arrived on scene. There were no injuries reported at the time. AVFD provided traffic control, manpower, cleanup.
